Update or Extend an Expired Download Licence

The program has been installed but the licence HAS NOT yet expired

  1. Sign onto the program as the Word/Numbershark administrator
  2. Select Admin from the top menu bar
  3. Choose the bottom option Advanced features
  4. Choose ‘Update expiry date’ 
  5. Enter the licence details where prompted
  6. Activation to the new licence details should be automatic, where activation fails follow the instructions for manual activation. You will need your full licence details to hand.

The program has been installed, the licence HAS expired and you are extending the expiry date only

  1. On launching the Word/Numbershark program you will receive an expired message
  2. Choose ‘File’ from the top left of the screen


  1. Choose ‘Update expiry date’
  2. The licence date will be updated automatically. Where this fails follow the instructions for manual activation; you will need your full licence details to hand.

The program has been installed, the licence HAS expired and you have received a new licence certificate

  1. On launching the Word/Numbershark program you will receive an expired message
  2. Choose ‘File’ from the top left of the screen


  1. Choose ‘Reset for new Licence Key’
  2. The program will close 
  3. Reload the program and you will be prompted to enter your new licence key
  4. Enter the licence key and click OK
  5. You may be prompted to enter an Activation note. Use this to help identify the installation in the future, for example if you have more than one machine, or have several licences on several machines. Press OK
  6. The new licence key will update automatically. Where this fails follow the instructions for manual activation; you will need your full licence details to hand
